The CoolSNAP EZ is a fast, high-resolution camera designed for low-light life science imaging applications. This moderately cooled CCD camera delivers 12-bit digitization at 20 MHz. Megapixel resolution and small pixel pitch allow imaging of fine detail. The pixels can also be easily binned to utilize the full available dynamic range and increase signal-to-noise performance. Advanced interline-transfer CCD technology offers high quantum efficiency, most notably in the near-infrared (NIR) portion of the spectrum.
